Overview

The PLM Solution Architect is a senior member of the team, responsible for defining the future of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and systems for clients. This role demands deep expertise in the 3DExperience platform and the ability to guide businesses in aligning their technology and processes with organizational objectives. The Solution Architect collaborates closely with stakeholders to model processes, conduct workshops, and deliver impactful outcomes such as process documents, use cases, and functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage deep knowledge of the 3DExperience platform and the Value Engagement framework to drive PLM strategies.
  • Understand AS-IS processes, define TO-BE processes, and conduct workshops to enrich or innovate business workflows.
  • Provide leadership in aligning tools, processes, and user needs to achieve optimal ROI from PLM systems.
  • Guide clients in making informed decisions about processes, customizations, and long/short-term trade-offs.
  • Conduct interviews and workshops, create presentations, and document outcomes with high levels of creativity and detail.
  • Demonstrate expertise in office applications and other relevant software to support PLM initiatives.
  • Travel to Western Europe as required for customer projects.

As a PLM Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives for clients. Key activities include:

  • Applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to align technology with business processes.
  • Producing high-quality deliverables, such as process models, functional specifications, and use cases.
  • Leading workshops to collaboratively define and refine business processes.
  • Providing expert guidance on balancing tool capabilities with business needs for win-win outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven expertise in PLM architecture, process modeling, and system implementation.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
